A Step In The Right Direction is a luxurious two-story women’s sober living home in beautiful Northridge California with inviting and pleasant décor. It is centrally located with easy access to public transportation and shopping, and only a few blocks from the Northridge mall and Cal State Northridge, and minutes from the 118, the 405, and the 5 freeways. It has clean spacious rooms and all bedrooms are equipped with cable TV, central heat and air.
We offer unlimited local and long distance phone access and a computer with high-speed wireless internet. We have a big back yard, pool and barbeque. We have a beautiful fireplace and pool table. Our upstairs and downstairs living rooms are equipped with premium cable channels on our big screen TVs. We have a large Gourmet kitchen and we provide a high tech washer and dryer.

We are here to help any woman who is suffering due to addiction to any substances like crystal meth (methamphetamine, meth-amphetamine - meth),  cocaine, alcohol, alcohol abuse, heroin, methadone, morphine, or prescription drugs We provide an opportunity for women to move forward in their lives. We have multiple years of recovery and are an avid supporter of the 12 step support groups.

If you are here as a result of prop 36 (alternate to jail), and need a safe place to recover from addiction to narcotics, alcohol, meth-amphetamine or other drugs, we are her to help you. We require you to attend AA – Alcoholics Anonymous, NA – Narcotics Anonymous, CA – Cocaine Anonymous , A.A, N.A, C.A or other 12 step meetings. We offer a transitional living alternative in the San Fernando Valley. This is a women’s soberliving not a halfway house, but a recovery house that offers transitional living to women who wish to remain clean and sober from all mind altering substances. If you are a woman drug addict or alcoholic seeking sobriety or recovery in the Los Angeles area we can offer help. We are not a drug addiction substance abuse or alcoholism treatment center. Women need to be detoxed before coming here. we require all women to remain clean and sober during their stay here.
